We have a new OPSEC ticker policy!!

countdown-to-homecoming tickers are not allowed on the site. This includes any of our deployed loved ones coming home from any time away, as a unit or on an individual basis. It is simply too dangerous to even risk allowing the tickers. Count up tickers are the acceptable alternative, and we still can feel proud of ourselves for going so long without them.


If your ticker doesn't fall into regs, we will send you a PM asking you to kindly remove it and/or change it from count down to count up. If the countdown ticker is still in place the following day, we will send you a second request. If after 48 hours the ticker is still in place, the staff will remove it for you. It's just not worth the risk of leaving them in place...of course we do not want to put our loved ones in danger, however inadvertent or unintentional it may be.
